i guess technologies can never be brought to a halt nor can it be brought to a slow. imagine, what would happen to this globe if technologies come to a stand still? please correct me if i'm wrong. human race has been a "slave" towards technologies and innovations. human race has or is now been "controlled" by i & t. or should i say we are "addicted" to i & t? maybe "addicted" is a nice word to use ya?

why is that so? shall we take a look at how we use internet everyday? we have to serve the net everyday. be it in work, school or for lesiure. we use the virtual world to do research, communicate, and for lesiure purpose. i personally leave my internet on for more than 10hrs per day if i'm at home.

infact shall i say now we are in the virtual word submitting our research and blogging.

however, i & t development has always have a close ties with economny. it's approaches had created many job chances. it had boosted the developments of many nations. because of it's advancements, it had created a great impact on these nations. be it developing or developed countries, many of them had benefited from the power of it. however, some 3rd world countries are falling behind.

i & t approaches however had it's impact on political ground as well. politicians over the world uses this to their advantages. take for example, political uses pod-casting in singapore recently for their election campaign. many intelligence agencies around the globe, uses these advance approaches to collect and analysis intelligence resources to combat terrorism. and in morden combat context, militaries uses these advancements to train their combat troops for operations during peace-time or during combat.

i & t had indeed brought about many great researches and thus transform them into reailities. in medical world, many great innovations help save many lifes. and it does really help us especially for those of us in this building industry, it makes our life easier.

however, it is true that, by depending too much on i & t, would have an negative impact. take for example, i must admit that living a day without it or technologies, would make my life difficult and painful, same to goes as you know a day without your mobile. how does that feel? strange isn't? but come to say that will technology control human race? look at how robots are featured at the recent japan expo. robots had replaced the importance of human. yes it is true to say that by just implanting a chip into the processor of a robot and all datas can be stored in. but that just a piece of metal in a artificial skin. we will loose that soft touch of having a real human with all the netural smile and warmth that a human can give...

it's approaches and impact would really make us loose our basic instinct...that's my feel, not now. but how about in 10years time? 50 years time? or 100 years time? who can make sure that robots won't replace human? take world cup for example, robots are replacing human in patrolling. that has a good and bad side of it.

so my question is what's next? what's going to happen next?
